P. G. MAVRIDIS has an excellent know-how on the design and development of hopper scales.
We are the ones who developed the first automated system for olive weighing, called Ellis in 1997.
Ellis achieves high feeding speed per weighing cycle (3 Kg/sec), thus covering a production of even 10.000 Kg per hour.

The automated hoppers may be also used in simple applications, such as in packing and bagging machines.

A network of multiple-hoppers inter-connected and controlled by a personal computer, through specialized programmes, is used on multi-head packing machines and production systems for the composition of products which require different raw materials to be weighed simultaneously in order to compose them.
