Software Development/ Indicative Applications
iDC Fuel Manager
Petrol Station Management Software
iDC Fuel Manager is software, which runs under a mimic environment, suitable for petrol stations.
A database for the management of pumps and fuel tanks, running under Windows 2000/XP, intends to automate the control and operation of pumps and tanks for each fuel type displaying the consumption in liters and the price per pump.
iDC Fuel Manager supports:
- Simultaneous management of up to 30 fuel pumps.
- Serial pump network communication via RS-485 or RS-422 port.
- Serial communication via RS-232 port with the taxation device.
iDC Fuel Manager when a pump operates, automatically displays on a mimic diagram and on real time, information about:
- Fuel type;
- Price per liter;
- Total fuel quantity per pump under operation and
- Eventual fuel quantity during the whole filling process
The system provides information for each user's transactions in relation with the date and time they were performed. A laser or inkjet printer can be connected for printing out the relevant reports.
User may easily input the prices per liter, separately for each pump. Optionally, during completion of a pump filling process, iDC Fuel Manager can automatically send a print-out command to the taxation device.
Tank Management
iDC Fuel Manager may optionally include system communication with tank level sensors. The intention is to automatically update the PC and represent on a mimic diagram the remaining fuel per tank, calculating at the same time consumption per fuel type etc.
iButtons module
Optionally, iDC Fuel Manager can support interconnection with an encrypted code reader, such as the iB-Controller. The encrypted code contained inside the iButtons, corresponds to a specific customer-vehicle. The iB-Controller units may be installed inside the pumps and use low voltage power supply.
Using this system, one can buy fuels even during non-working hours.
