Equipment

The laboratory of P. G. MAVRIDIS houses the R&D and the Q.C. processes. It is also available to our customers or third parties for the testing and reliability of electronic devices and layouts.
Our equipment comprises instruments of high technology and accuracy, made by top worldwide manufacturers, ensuring the cost and time reduction for measurements according to national and international standards. The measurement tools have Calibration Certificates issued by international accredited laboratories.

EMC Measurements and Prototypes

The laboratory carries out compatibility tests, as per European community directives:

  • 73/23/EC   (LVD)
  • 89/336/EC (EMC)

These tests aim at meeting the CE requirements for the product design of P. G. MAVRIDIS. The laboratory also offers consultancy to third parties during development phase and conducts compatibility test to electronic lay-outs, devices and components. These tests and measurements are in accordance with following standards:

Immunity of Magnetic Field

  • ΕΝ 61000-4-8

Immunity of Overvoltages, Voltage Variations, Dips and Short Interruptions

  • ΕΝ 61000-4-11
  • ΕΝ 61000-4-13
  • ΕΝ 61000-4-14
  • ΕΝ 61000-4-28

Emissions of Harmonics & Voltage Fluctuations

  • IEC 1000-3-2
  • IEC 1000-3-3

The instruments that perform the measurements are controlled by personal computer via GPIB.
The automation of measurement evaluation procedures is achieved by specialized software owned by P. G. MAVRIDIS, increasing thus the effectiveness of the laboratory measurements and contributing to the final product reliability.

   

P. G. MAVRIDIS can also carry out ESD tests, Fast Transient Burst, Radiated and Conducted R.F. Immunity, Radiated and Conducted Emission.

Burn-in Test

P. G. MAVRIDIS applies burn-in procedures on electronic devices on different temperatures and variable transition speeds. The measurements under variable temperature enhance the reliability of the final product.
